And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. (Mark 8: 34-38).

For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” It does not, therefore, depend on man’s desire or effort, but on God’s mercy (Romans 9: 15-16). The only way to heaven is if the Lord has compassion on our souls. The way to heaven is through the Lord Jesus Christ. His compassion on how we lived our life will be the facture if we enter in through the narrow gates. Compassion is not a unique Christian response to suffering (Exod. 2:6; Luke 10:33), even though Christians have unique reasons for nurturing there souls. Hope for the future (Isa 49:13; Jer. 12:15) is also rooted in God’s compassion. For those who have compassion for other then God will have compassion for them. We see through out the bible compassion is a form of love and we should have compassion for others. We should have compassion for the Lord. Most of all we should have compassion to serve the Lord for our souls and others.

“I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.” (Luke 12:4-5) Fear the Lord always. Be watchful for God is watching you. Don’t hurt oneself in the body because the Lord is there watching you. Fears him always and I say fear him. God has the power over our heavenly home with him. If we want to enter we must first fear and obey.

Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God (Ephesians 5:1-2). God word tells us to be like him more each day. To imitate his guidance and the way we do all things. We need to imitate his word in all things. Jesus shows us how to live, work, worship, serve, pray, learn, understand, ect… If we truly know God word then we will have thought about what it means to imitate the word of God. God’s word isn’t false and if we look at history we see that the bible is the oldest word that has lasted through centuries. Why would this be so hard to understand? I guess you have to have a little faith, a little knowledge, and a little understanding. Then you will truly know God. But this don’t come easy, it takes work. Some people say, “Well I don’t have the time” Well how many hours of TV do you watch or how many hours doing the things you like to do? If we actually give God the time he needs then we will grow a better understanding of what God really wants from us. Love each other and love God more. Live life for love and God is love. Christ loved us so much that He died for us. At least we could do is put the work into it.

My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness (Isaiah 26:9). When we learn to understand that God is there for us, then we start to understand we need God more then anything else. God is always there to talk too and to love you. When we truly know God and need God then our whole body, spirit and mind will know. It is not just something that happens. To find this kind of understanding we first must put in the work. And this can come through a lot of areas but one I could give you is to study God word. Really try to make application to what is truly saying. Then maybe pray more and more everyday, maybe helping other, or maybe just saying hi to someone that is having a bad day. There can more and more of these times of things but when we actually start to understand the appreciation of God then we will know his righteousness, Lord willing.

Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said: “Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you” (Ephesians 5:11-14). I agree!!! People just need to wake up and see the greatness of the word of God and his love for them. They need to be exposed for the wrong they are doing. They need to know that sin is ugly and that sin lead to the burning fire. I hope we can all have a better understanding of how sin is really an ugly deed. Helps those and pray for those who are lost. Help those who fall back into the world. Help all those who need a helping hand.

Search me, O God, and know my heart. See if there is any wicked way in me” (Psalm 139:23-24). I have set before you life and death, blessing, and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live” (Deuteronomy 30:19). For all our talk about loving the truth, do we really desire to see all that God sees when He examines out heart? There will be no redemption for those unwilling to face reality. Why do we continue to punish ourselves for things we can’t control? God wants us to live life to the fullest with respecting his commandments as well. There are so many good things that we can enjoy. We have God first and for most, I could just say that and that would be enough. But there is more that can be thankful for in this life. But if all we do is focus on this life then we aren’t actually of God. God tells us to keep our mind on things above and not what we are doing here in this world. Don’t let Satan eat away at you before you get so sick in your spiritual life that you start to fall. I will tell you there will be people in this life that will get you down and even hurt you but don’t let those people get in the way of what’s important. We have to humble ourselves and first keep the commandments of God. If God does know our heart then we must continue to search for him and keep his will and not ours. What kind of person or character do you have? If you don’t know then you must continue to search. It might be helpful to right them down. We must pray about what kind of person we want to be and we first have to let God control our lives. Do we actually know who we are? God knows us better then we know ourselves. But God does know, and we can be sure that his dealing with us will be based on the perfect knowledge that he has of our real character, regardless of whether others deal with us fairly or not. God knows what, when, how things will happen. God’s know who you are because He made you. God knows who you are because you want to live for him. Stay in God always and don’t let sin take you. Build your character for God because ultimately its God we have to impress and not others. If we impress God, knowing we can never match what He’s done for us, then were going to impress others.

As Christian we need to find a goal to obtain for future experiences. Ever Christian has things to work on and many Christian have a lot to work on. However, we need to stay the course and continue to be the best we can be. Like I have said before we need to be patient and know we will get to were we need to be. Our character can be changed if we continue to focus on the truth and work on our weaknesses. We will see the light when we have overcome our challenges. The goals we set should be worked on everyday. The goals we set should be small or even large. After obtaining small goals then make them bigger or work on the big goals. Setting goals are challenging for ourselves isn’t something that is strange to us. However, setting the goals and working on them to achieve them is a personal accomplishment that we should have. The goal setting isn’t just for ourselves but it’s the relationship we have with God. Therefore guard up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, not conforming yourselves to former lust, as in ignorance, but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, form your aimless conduct received by tradition from you fathers, but with precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot (1 Peter 1:13-19). It is not enough to be faithful in what we teach; we must practice what we preach. “Anyone who knows the right thing to do and fails to do it commits sin” (Jas. 4.17). The more you set in front of your face the better you will understand and learn. What I mean is, if you set goals to learn and read more everyday then Gods word will revile itself to you. The learning and experience process will go far beyond what you expect. But the challenge is yours and yours alone. For you to achieve your goals you must first start and take the first step. We have to have faith that God will merely listen to us, but at the end of the day it’s the Lord’s will that will get us to Heaven. If we have faith we have Christ. Jesus is greater than His disciples. Christians sometimes esteem themselves more highly than they ought. Jesus, to teach a lesson on humility and servitude, washed the disciples’ feet. He said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who sent greater than he who sent him” (Jn. 13:16). Have faith that God will get your through the tough times. Have faith that God will help you achieve your goals. If you haven’t started goals then maybe you should. Have a great day.

For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness (Psalm 84:10). And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains (Colossians 4:3). I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name (Revelation 3:8). Don’t grumble against each other, brothers, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door (James 5:9). Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me (Revelation 3:20). God’s word is very simple to understand, but it’s the choice of understanding it. The door’s that God opens is often shut by us. We don’t just let God take control of our life and let him open the doors for us. The doors are always open but it’s our choice to take them. Not all road lead to heaven. The doors to heaven are there but you have to take the first step in. Make the write choice to open the doors to heaven. If you have then continued to help others make the right choice to take the first step. The choice is yours.
